Pallas Projects/Studios are delighted to announce the open call for applications for our 2024 Artist-Initiated Projects. We are inviting proposals for funded 3-week exhibitions from artists working across all contemporary visual art forms. Submission guidelines are now available through the link from our website, and the deadline for submissions is 5pm Thursday 23rd November 2023.
Visual artists are invited to apply, especially emerging artists, recent graduates, and early/mid-career artists with solo or collaborative projects. The application procedure is free and simple to complete, projects will be self-directed, with an artists fee/production budget and other valuable supports from PP/S. Exhibitions will run from March – October 2024, and we welcome projects/bodies of work that are completed/near completion, or work in progress with clearly-expressed outcomes. Please note the ability to turn around in a short time may be required.
We've made a few changes to the application process this year including: an earlier, extended application process, and the option to submit a video instead of a text document to allow for accessibility needs. An online session will also take place with the opportunity to hear more about the programme, advice on the application process, and to ask questions ahead of submission.
