Overview
We are hiring a world-class support engineering leader to lead a team of support engineers and to monitor and maintain the efficiency of our software applications. In this role, hire and grow a team of Support Engineers who are focused on delivering world class technical support. Your teams will work closely with our software engineering team and manage customer issues, root cause fixes, and maintain high product quality across our products (iOS, Android, Web etc.). To ensure success as a support engineering leader, you should possess extensive experience in providing software support in a fast-paced environment.What You’ll Do
- Hire and grow a highly skilled support engineering team
- Ensure long term fixes and highest product quality for all Speechify products
- Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics
- Providing front-end support to customer success and engineering teams
- Collaborate with customer success, engineering, and product teams
An ideal candidate should have
- Experience leading a support engineering organization across multiple platforms
- You've built and shipped products that can scale to millions of users.
- You are passionate about the field and have the desire to build high quality products that serve customer needs
- Experience with our tech Stack: Vanilla JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Firebase, Node.js, Next.js.
- You maintain SLA’s through the implementation of proactive issue
- detection and reporting
- You can setup and configure mechanisms to prevent prolonged outages
- You ensure accurate and complete support procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries
- You show good judgment and instincts in decision making
- Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment
